About us
The story of Wildflower Corner
Wildflower Corner was established in May 2019 when our offer on a corner lifestyle section was accepted. We were drawn to this site as it was a flat acre almost completely encircled by well-established trees. The Wildflower Corner name originates from our “wild” children with flower names, and the fact our site sits on the corner of two country roads.
Our journey began with the construction of our modern farmhouse, which we finally moved into in May 2020. Since then we have been hard at work establishing a productive food forest styled orchard and raised vegetable beds.
The Wildflower Corner family now consists of Mel, “Hubby”, Miss 8, Miss 6, Master 2, Minnie the goldendoodle, and 5 chickens (Marshmallow, Snowflake, Rapunzel, Boba and Lavender). We have successfully bred two litters of puppies from our beloved Minnie, with a focus on temperment, personality and the desired "teddy-bear" coat.
