Minnie (Mum)

Minnie is our beautiful, playful 3rd generation goldendoodle. She was born in early 2020 to breeders in Auckland, and she has been living with us since April 2020. She was the darkest golden puppy in her litter, but over the years has lightened up considerably. Minnie has the desired "Teddy-bear" coat that has remained super-soft over the years.

Our Disney-obsessed daughters were determined to name her Minnie, despite my pleas that she was going to grow big! I have since accepted my ironically named dog, although she does also answer to Pup-pup. Minnie now weighs roughly 25kgs. Minnie has grown up with our old Cavoodle, Chewy (d. 2023) and a multitude of chickens who she loves to herd into their coop

Minnie’s favorite thing in the entire world is to go for a run. A family member owns a 40ha farm just up the road from us, and Minnie happily runs all over it chasing wild rabbits. She can easily run 10km in a day and still appears energetic.

Minnie is a beloved family pet, who is extremely companionable. She loves helping out in the garden, cleaning up the kitchen floor, snuggling to watch tv and just generally being in the company of others. .
